So what happened? Was Mary Ann adopted by the Tutchins for some reason? Or did John Sams die and did Elizabeth Sams marry Levi Tutchins

Henry is a Waggoner on the 1883 baptism record of his son Francis William and a Haulier on the 1907 marriage certificate of his daughter Ellen.

Henry and Mary had a daughter, Ellen - born and died in 1875, according to Campbells.

They also had a son Thomas (1881-1950) who has been recorded as GRANTER rather than GRINTER. He became a Master Mariner ... more to follow.
